Biography and Research Interests

I work on Bayesian and machine learning methods applied to sensors and control systems and have done research on Bose-Einstein condensates and nonlinear classical and quantum dynamics. I have a PhD (Durham) in physics, followed by postdoctoral positions in Southampton and Otago.

My work on Bayesian algorithms has resulted in prototype measurement devices, including those for dynamical weighing and GPS positioning.
